Data modeling is the arrangement, classification and categorization of data using a Data structures.
A Data model is abstract representation of data structures (tables) required for a database and in articulate and correspond the business needs.
Companies have large data to take care of and everyday within the different level of the company, data is required for executing various functions. To make these data easily available to the user, data modeling plays an important and core role in the routine operation. Data model describe data for storage in data management systems. To Data model to be a success technical and client (user) have work jointly to make the data management system more efficient.
A data model includes two step viz. conceptual, rational and bodily data model.
Once the conceptualization of the data management system is placed, a rational data modeling is implemented. Rational data modeling is adaptation of business needs for the company for which the data model is being made. Rational data mining includes entitles, relations, groups etc.. Once the Rational data model is approved by the Clients (user) bodily data model is resumed. It involves tables, columns, databases which acts as front-end and contains graphical user interface (GUI) so that user with the limited knowledge of know-how can use the data model to retrieve the require data.
